Birthday Butterflies and Flowers

It might officially be fall here in the United States, but today I felt like making a birthday card with more of a spring feel. Fall is definitely my favorite season, but spring is definitely my second favorite. The outdoor temperature calls you outside to enjoy nature.

Fall draws you outside with the cooler days after a steaming summer and gorgeous colors of foilage. Spring draws you outside with warmer days after a freezing winter and the colors and hints of new life as things begin to bud and birds and butterflies color the air.

Regardless of the season or weather outside your window, you can bring the feelings of any season inside as you create art to bring that season alive.

To create the three vines spaced apart, I cut the vines from the Well Written Dies and adhere them spaced out to the card front layer with the addition of flowers and butterflies.

Make sure you head over to WWC290, Just Add Ink #524, and CAS Colours & Sketches #389 to see inspiration cards by the design team and other creative entries.
In addition to the regular starter kit (for $99 USD/$135 CAD, new recruits choose $125 USD/$165 CAD-worth of products) new recruit will also receive enough cardstock pieces to make 16 cards, a pack of Rhinestone Basic Jewels, the So Much Love stamp set, and the Queen Anne’s Lace stamp set—all for their first event.

I have a loyalty program to thank you, my loyal customers.

  1. Such a gorgeous card Angel and a fantastic use of the challenge colours. I love the white background and then the little pops of colour against the white. Super pretty! Thanks for playing along this week at Just Add Ink. Rochelle xo

    • Thanks Rochelle. I loved these challenge colors and once I saw them used for a vine with blooms in my head, I couldn’t un-see it.
